How can that be? Do you also see a small difference of histograms between RAW dev. preview and TIF is smaller than the difference between RAW dev. There is still a difference between historgrams of RAW dev preview and the TIF, although the difference between RAW dev. So I exported another TIF 16bits file with the exact same processing parameters as the JPEG, and compared histograms again. I imagined the difference in histograms could come from the difference of RAW preview based on 14bits or 16bits processing in computer memory and the JPEG compression over 8bits. ![]() preview, but the histograms of the preview and the JPEG exports are also very slightly different in shadows (left side of the histogram). I was suspecting a problem with color management or color space setting for the export vs color space for the RAW dev. preview in Silkypix 9, I noticed a subtle difference in shadows. ![]() While exporting to JPEG file, and comparing the exported file side by side with the RAW image dev.
